XShock Dakar adjustable shock absorbers are Monotube-type constructions, engineered for maximum performance in the toughest conditions. Compared to traditional Twin-Tube shock absorbers, they offer much better heat dissipation and more stable damping, even during prolonged and intense off-road driving.
Thanks to the 6-level damping adjustment, each XShock Dakar shock allows quick tuning of the suspension to current driving conditions. The ability to increase or decrease stiffness makes them perfect for rallies, off-road events, and long overland expeditions, where terrain and vehicle load often change.
The high nitrogen pressure in the gas chamber prevents oil cavitation, ensuring consistent performance regardless of temperature or load. The working oil is in direct contact with the outer body walls, which allows rapid heat dissipation, keeping the shock absorber fully efficient even in extreme conditions.
